Jacoby Browder, also popularly known as Jacoby X, an extraordinary musical performing artist, author and youth educator from Birmingham, AL. Jacoby, a board member, is also the founder of his own program, LIT Academy, and has an uncanny ability to energize young audiences and get them motivated and inspired to learn. With a special commitment to youth, Defy Gravity focuses on education and empowerment - teaching young people success principles, helping them to elevate their belief systems, and enabling them to overcome adversity to become the best versions of themselves.  Our highly interactive youth programming involves motivational speeches, education that promotes literacy, goal setting, critical thinking and conflict resolution (among other things). These aspects are infused with a pulsating musical performance, and other activities. Consider it a motivational concert - perfect for summer programs, back to school events, pep rallies, or any other occasion.
